When Set Free was launched as an entity approximately 20 years ago in Southern California, it was established that there should be residential facilities set apart from the main congregation where those individuals who decide to come into the discipleship program could spend a minimum of 30-days being set apart from the world, getting rooted and grounded in the Word of God while beginning to allow God to put the fragile pieces of their lives back together again. While many who come to Set Free are struggling with various forms of addiction, a physical property location on the outskirts of town was found to be the most beneficial in keeping those who come into our program away from the everyday temptations that are more common in inner cities.  Once the men have completed their initial 30 days at the “ranch” they are welcome to move into our second phase, which is our men’s dorm on the church premises.
