COMMUNITY OUTREACHES
Set Free has a huge emphasis on “Outreach” evangelism. At least once a month (more during fall, winter and spring) we have outreaches wherein we have been able to minister to those in our community outside of our four walls. We have found that these outreaches serve a significant purpose in Kingdom building as it allows us the opportunity to introduce the gospel to those who might never attend a conventional church service. We offer a free meal, games and prizes for children, bounce houses, face painting, balloon animals, and ultimately the presentation of the gospel message. We have seen dozens of children and adults give their hearts to the Lord Jesus at these outreaches, and largely as a result, our congregation growth has begun. Also, we firmly believe in and encourage water baptism among believers. Out of the 98 baptisms of record so far this year, 14 of them were done in the Colorado River on Labor Day when we had a Labor Day BBQ/Set Free Outreach at the River. It was truly an amazing time for the Kingdom of God!
